Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox had studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox made it through on a student's stipend working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her performance compared with other students at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox began her career in 1976 as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. She quit the group before they appeared in I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. She was the voice for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva which was released in the year 1992. In both commercial terms and critically it was a huge achievement. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a performer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some success in the late 1970s. Later, Lennox joined the band with fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, which was released in 1995, features the versions of a few of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has recorded six solo studio albums and one compilation album.
