On the HBO drama True Blood, she played the role of Daphne. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. Her first job was in teaching Reading in Kindergarten and the 1st grade at Maury County. After marrying her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she relocated in Thompsons Station. At Bethesda Elementary she started teaching the 4th grade. The years 1999 and 2000 saw Ashley continued teaching after she received her Master of Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University. However it was in 2000 that they welcomed Baylor. Ashley has been spending the last 15 years focusing on the development of the kids in her local church and community while serving as a volunteer in various capacities. Ashley has led the Preschool Ministry at Thompson Station Church in various roles for more than 13 years. Ashley has spent the last three years home homeschooling her kids. While they were homeschooling they attended a family school-based tutorial, in which Ashley was also a teacher of History in Kindergarten and 1st grade. God was clearly showing them and their families that it was important to return to schools. While Ashley enjoyed the homeschooling experience, she also enjoyed having her five kids. Brent and Ashley are the parents of five children. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz All are GCA students. Baylor is an GCA student who plays baseball. He is a student at the UT-Martin. Callan is an GCA Graduate who is attending Western Kentucky University. The family is energetic and loves fishing, hunting and supporting one another in sport.
