Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5th, 1956 in Woodland Hills California. Her father was an elementary school teacher, and her mom was an at-home mom. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her brothers older than her. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. She was crowned her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to be a part of the show business. McCormick got her first job as a leading actress in 1964. McCormick was in an advertisement for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. The same year, she was featured in another commercial that aired on TV for Chatty Cathy's doll. The following year, McCormick was cast at La Jolla Playhouse to play the part of Wind It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was one of 1200 children to play the eldest towheaded daughter in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with an unmarried family. The show ran for five years. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the television show she almost lost virginity with her twin brother Barry Williams. At the time, she was 16 and he was 19. The woman said it might have been possible, but we never had the right time to do it.
