Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American model and actor who is most well-known as the actress of Mystique as the protagonist from the first of three segments of X-Men. Romijn was a part of the Marvel film "The Punisher", in which she portrayed Joan. Romijn began her modelling career at 16. Her modeling career has taken off since then. She's been a model for major corporations like Christian Dior Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret. The model spent over 10 years as a model for large fashion houses. Then, she resigned from the modeling industry in order to pursue acting. Romijn was more successful in her career on television that in Hollywood. She was "Alexis Mead", in the comedy/drama series "Ugly Betty" in the following season, and she played the part of "Jessie Nichols" on the TV show the SUV NTSF. She appeared on 'King & Maxwell" and The Librarians. She also hosted the reality series about body painting Skin Wars and was appeared in many projects, including video games, acting as an actor.
